Personality:
If one is familiar with other Exos they might find Felwinter somewhat unusual. He's far more reserved in his manner, far less animated that some have compared him to an Exo with default factory settings for emotions. Given that he is an Exo that is partially a Warmind, it's only to be expected since he is entirely an AI and not formerly human like normal Exos, so he's never had the need nor urge to behave in such emotional ways. He's quiet and thoughtful, never fully at rest, bearing a tension that's become practically a part of him for how long he and his Ghost Felspring have been on the run. Once he sets his mind to things, he is quite diligent in seeing it through, even at personal risk. In that he's also stubborn, unwilling to back down from his own position. He will do things his way, mostly because taking the advice of others means to exercise some amount of trust, and it takes him a bit to get to that point.
In a way, there's also this sense of an almost childlike naivete to him. Basically starting from scratch upon his being resurrected, he's only had his Ghost Felspring to trust and rely on, and Felspring has been very insistent upon the secret of what he is, not that he has found any reason to disagree. Given the current climate of humanity, there would be many who would want to take advantage of what he is and what he could possibly do, the bunkers he can access and the long lost secrets of the Golden Age he might know. His interactions with people in this life have been limited, and he's still getting a sense of how they work. If there are problems to be solved, he will go with the most efficient solution. Case in point, territorial warlords. Felwinter wanted a place to hide and the most ideal place was a mountain peak that was already claimed, and when no deal could be brokered, he shot the man's Ghost and threw the warlord off the mountain. He doesn't have a good grasp of how things work with people on a personal level, picking things up from observation, applying as he figures they should be applied.
Far be it to say that he isn't without emotion. He has learned things. It's a part of his protocol; his reason for being created by the Warmind Rasputin had been to learn about human culture, to gather data on music and literature. The Light gave him actual life, a will of his own, making him unique- part Guardian, part Warmind. Then Rasputin sought to destroy him, considering him to have gone rogue, and the Exo learned paranoia, fear. He spent much of his earlier time wandering, always looking over his shoulder, always assessing threat levels and the security of any place he was forced to harbor in. It pushed him to seek out a more fortifiable refuge where he wouldn't be constantly looking to the skies for fear of a Warsat coming down to crush him or ambushed by a swarm of combat frames. He found a mountain and claimed the old observatory at its peak, inheriting with it, in a way, a village at its base, and by their perspective, responsibility of their safety.
It was from these people that he learned empathy. He found that he could relate with them, with their fight to survive, in fear of powers greater than them, of warlords who would trample them like ants in their play for more power, more territory. He developed a keen sense of justice, a desire to make right from wrong, and he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty to do it. He's killed many warlords because of their abuse of power over those weaker than them. Felwinter learned how to care for others aside from himself, and given his unique nature, he also knew he had the potential means to do it, to help humanity back on its feet. Despite his cynicism he'd decided to join like-minded Risen who had set aside their title as warlords, and as an Iron Lord sought to create a great city that humanity could once again thrive. In this he also came to recognize what it was to develop a passion for something, and he truly wished to help others.
Abilities:
When one is on the run and in already hostile territory, one learns how to protect themselves and use weapons as they find them. With the unique part of him being a Warmind, this has gained Felwinter special access to specific bunkers that contained many firearms still in excellent condition even years after the Collapse of humanity's Golden Age. Perhaps due to his being an Exo and a Warmind, having a tactical mind is to be expected, and although he didn't start off as a warrior, he has certainly become one. As a glorified AI he is able to read code like a second language, and when he and Felspring work together to research, they do it with the utmost efficiency.
As a Risen, as this is the Dark Ages, a time before those blessed with the Traveler's Light took on the title of Guardians, Felwinter's bond with his Ghost Felspring allows him to be revived from death as many times as necessary, so long as his Ghost is unharmed. To an extent she can also repair/heal him, but in the cases of severe internal damage to his systems, her ability is limited, in which case it's faster for her to bring him back from death where he is fully functional.
The Light gives the Risen powers aside from their ability to resurrect. Felwinter's powers are that of the Guardian Warlocks, giving him access to elements of the Void and Solar flames. His powers can be used both to heal and bolster, or to destroy. With the power of the Void he can cause extensive damage by disintegration of his enemies, especially if he has enough altitude, or on more local grounds can siphon the energy of his targets to heal himself. With Solar he can conjure up a blade of pure solar light, which is also capable of hurling flames at his targets. Like current Warlocks, he can glide over distances or teleport over short distances (within immediate visual range).
Given the unknown universe Agra 10 is in, we've been playing it that access to the Light is strained, so it takes a lot of focus and the more use made of it, the more exhausting. This has been keeping anyone from exploiting how well resurrection would work, although I've been meaning to ask anyway, should something come up. Would it be possible to still retain this ability?
Personal Item: His Ghost, Felspring.
